Do you like adding Dieselpunk and other "Weirdness" to your WW2 games? 1. Yes! I like to add Rocketeers & robots, magic and occult baddies, supersoldiers, superscience and zombies to my games. 2. Sometimes. Sometimes I'm in the mood for some Weirdness. I mean, WW2 saw the use of Batbombs, radar guided missiles, IR scopes, jets and sonic guns -- so why not some other madness now and again like a pack of zombies at Stalingrad? 3. A Little Bit. I'm open to some real weirdness now and again, like Helicopters, IR scopes and stuff. 4. Never! If it's not in a history book, I'm not interested! |

1. Also. I've run 4 or 5 convention WWWII games using the excellent Graven Image late war 35mm figures & THW "Nuts" rules with WWWII addenda. |

1. Bring on the weird. But then, I'm not opposed to straight history, either. |

It clearly should be a thing, as there's people who enjoy it and it doesn't hurt anyone. But I'm not particularly interested myself. |

It is already a thing. 2. Extent – lots of range of different "weird" things Frequency – I play more historical WWII games that WWWII games. |

Not opposed to SF or fantasy, but it seems a shame to dull them down with WWII cammo colors. I'd rather take a WWII-inspired scenario and play it out with Tharks, Imperial Storm Troopers, or Ogres--in both senses. |

Loved to read Weird War Tales as a kid and found them super fun. As a gamer, they simply don't interest me on any level. I don't know why, I just react negatively to any weird war II gaming. |

Not opposed to SF or fantasy, but it seems a shame to dull them down with WWII cammo colors. You seem to have forgotten about those snazzy Hugo Boss outfite. I'd rather take a WWII-inspired scenario and play it out with Tharks, Imperial Storm Troopers, or Ogres--in both senses. Here you go … link … though shifting a scnario to another setting is a little different than the OP, adding something else to a milieu. |

2, I guess. I did like The Keep, for example: link and I have played some games set in WW2 Europe with Cthulhu Mythos monsters showing up. A little extra weirdness is OK with me. |

I could get into WW2+ Cthulhu. |
