While browsing issues of Peoples Computer Company on Archive.org, I noticed an interesting bit of news from 1973: Louis Zocchi created a TV add-on for his Alien Space Battle Manual. The blurb says "Spartan International plans to sell the TV attachment within a year" and describes it as superior to the computer game Spacewar (it sounds like it may've been played first-person?). Obviously this never went on sale, but has anyone else ever heard of it, or possibly seen it? The article says Zocchi was showing it off "at many Spartan Game Conventions across the country." I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links here, but I can link to the article if anyone's interested. |
