I paint 15mm, so I'm less concerned about picking out specific details in the equipment, but here is my guide for French Infantry serving in North Africa. These are all Vallejo colors except for the Senegalese skin tone. base / highlight Greatcoat: Green Brown 879 / Green Ochre 914 Trousers: US Field Drab 873 (American Equipment) Webbing: German Camo Beige 821 / Deck Tan 986 Adrian Helmet: Olive Grey 888 / Olive Grey + Green Grey 886 Backpack: German Camo Orange Ochre / GC Orange Ochre + Yellow Ochre 913 Ammo Pouches: Flat Brown 984 Puttees: Khaki Grey 880 Boots: Chocolate Brown 872 Senegalese Skin: Army Painter Dirt Spatter or Dark Fleshtone Vallejo Game Color 72.044 |
