Hi guys, I am planning on buying my first batch of miniatures for a Battle of the Alamo project. I am considering starting with some Old Glory minis of this period.

I noticed that the Old Glory UK says they are 28mm and the USA Old Glory says they are 25mm. Are they the same size or different? want to stay as close as possible to 28mm because I would like to mix them in the future with some Boot Hill and Artizan minis and prefer to buy them in USA since I am from Texas. Any advice amigos?

Thanksm Happy holidays, cheers!

Just different labels. OG are 'large' 25mm.

Mine are almost entirely OG, but the Boot Hill are very fine and filll a few gaps. Be sure to get the OG Army discount.

They are as stated 25mm. I have them plus I also have the 18mm Blue Moon Alamo and figures by Old Glory which are also nice.

As others have said, they are called 25mm but are actually 28mm. The do not play well with RalPartha true 25mm colonial.

Hi, I already bought the OG Army discount, I am waiting for their confirmation email and instructions to place my first order. I will order the first batch of minis soon.

I will start working on the Alamo walls while the figures arrive. I wonder if somebody sells the Alamo's church facade in 28mm 1/56 scale because is the trickiest to do about the Alamo.

I plan to use Rebels & Patriots rules and perhaps only use one side of the Alamo in the begging. Has anybody tried something similar with R&P? What other rules you would recommend for Alamo in 28mm?

Thanks guys, happy new year!
