I'm current working on some RalPartha Sohei. My research shows white pants and shirt. covered by a robe in yellow, yellow-orange, or what looks like dark blue or black. How did you paint your Sohei? |

I was thinking bright orange. Don't know if that's historical, but I've seen some painted like that and they looked great! |

"So as a follow up question, do the different shades of the robes have any significance?" Colours were used by some temples to show different ranks, but there was no single system and different traditions did (and still do) use different colour for robes. |

These are a few I recently did for playing with the RONIN skirmish rule set by OSPREY.
