Yes, IIRC, the USMC at that time had 2 Para Bns & 2 Raider Bns. IIRC 1 Para Bn & both Raider Bns were at Guadalcanal. IIRC, later in the war, '44(?). These units were disbanded and absorbed into other USMC units. |
