Yep, it's time to review the year and do some self-promoting and self-indulgence! Most of my projects this year focused around my fictional Anglo-Russian War using The Men Who Would be Kings and the French and Indian War using Rebels and Patriots. I'm going to brag on what I feel were my best figures or enjoyed painting in chronological order.

There are some fantastic models in that list. Really like your FIW figs, and the domino lady. White is my nemesis. Just can't paint it well.

White is a challenge. I use two techniques: Base of Flat Brown, then Buff on the higher points then white on the highlights. The second technique is using Dark Grey, Flat Grey and then white. Thanks for the compliment!

I remember admiring the mounted figure in a turban from one of your earlier posts. As you say, the turban really makes this figure.
