Harakiri: Blades of Honor is an amazing Japanese Fantasy RPG. The miniatures and artwork are absolutely astounding!! The gameplay mechanics are fantastic as well!! I'm backing this campaign and I hope you will too. There are only 3 days left for the Kickstarter! Here is a link to the Kickstarter: link |

There is something troublesome about a campaign that goes great guns to start (many do), and then it is supposed to hit the mid portion where funding is okay, but nothing like those first few days. Harakiri has tanked the past 8 days. Between barely raising a few grand on some days, to losing 3-4K on other days it has broken even. A game that raised 520K in the first four days should be raising 20-30K every day since. It's not. Why? I had a look and read some comments and there are some unhappy folks, but I cannot place my finger on why. Apparently they rearranged somet things and changed some pledges, and still nothing positive has happened. Is this game being over-promised, and they won't be able to deliver? They are asking for a lot of money, and this is their first campaign. Yellow flags went up in several spots for me. Could end up being a great game with super minis. But I will pass. And it's never making it to retail (they state this clearly, only a kickstarter), and I can live with that. |
