The biggest error I've seen that is repeated is that the Japanese attacked.

I know I've seen a speech where the Germans have been correctly identified as the agressors.

No great surprise. On several visits to US monuments, museums and battlefields the guides (written and staff) have often featured some pretty basic historical errors.

Of course thats not confined to the US, I've seen similar in Canada and the UK
