"Blade Runner Black Lotus TV Show" Topic

I ran across this by accident last night, while surfing for programs to view. Hadn't seen any advertisting for it in advance, which is a shame.

I recorded the first four episodes (all released at once apparently – not 100% sure about that, but that is the way it appeared to me), but have yet to view them. It's an anime cartoon series being shown on the TOON channel, and a lot of people involved in the development of the project are Japanese. Makes sense for an anime release I suppose.

Thankfully, there are no subtitles to read.

From the little bit I did see, the graphics look great, and the storyline may be interesting.

It's planned to be a 13 show series for 2021 and 2022, and takes place between the first and second movies. It is on at midnight, on Saturday/Sunday.

Hopefully it will be fun to watch, and provide for some Blade Runner gaming inspiration.

I saw it, the trama is a little classical, but the story is well done, perhaps the characters are a little "plastic" but the scenarios are ok, with a feeling of the first movie. for me it's worth to see it, only that here in Italy it's Crunchyroll to broadcast it.

I got to see the entire first episode, and bits and pieces of a couple of others (sleepy late at night, and the DVR didn't record as planned, sadly).

Looks like the four episodes will be repeated again this coming Saturday night/Sunday morning (midnight and later).

I see one new plot story point thus far for gaming, from the first episode.

The show does have the original Blade Runner feel, and settings – pretty much a clone of the first movie. I hope they expand on that over the original and sequel in the coming episodes.

Here in Los Angeles, I saw a bus stop poster for this that said it is on the Adult Swim channel. Ah, hmmm, I guess Adult Swim is actually a programming block on the Cartoon Network, so … what Thresher01 said.
