Battle of Lake Erie: one young Americans adventure in war of 1812 Book by David Vining was very good story following young midshipmen at the beginning of the Battle through the end. Having read most you Patrick O'Brian books but knew nothing about the Battle of Lake Erie and heard pod cast of author on another new book of old west so decided to get it on ebook. link
