This is in addition to his .50cal Canadian Tremor and a host of other weapons.

Well "Bless my heart", yes, in Tennessee you can own a flamethrower: YouTube link

I'll be trying it out this weekend.

Now he needs a drone to carry it… grin

Stryderg29 Nov 2021 2:58 p.m. PST

Just the thing to get rid of wasp nests! One suggestion, though: be upwind.

14Bore29 Nov 2021 3:56 p.m. PST

Wasps would be my target

Just the thing for Murder Hornets except I doubt you could own one in the Pacific Northwest.

The only thing better would be tank-mounted.

So how fast can you roast a Thanksgiving turkey with it…? ;-)

Wolf,

Did he figure out how to attach the bayonet? ;-)

These boys will get the California out of you before
you know it! LOL

Glad the move was successful and hope you are settling in.

Not an item for wargamers

but it is a firearm.

No it isn't. It is really ………

wait for it ……..

AN ARM OF FIRE.

I love it.

My son-in-law is checking to see if it qualifies as an open carry. I think he intends to use it on his armadillo problem.

Bismarck,
I'll have to check into the bayonet thing for him.

People can say what they like about California but Pendleton is better than LeJeune, I've been stationed at both and the girls are better looking too. I married a California surfer chick with an MBA 30 years ago and am still married too. Her dad is a Guadalcanal vet. After getting to know him I knew I had to marry his daughter and have her bear my children. Our son is a Marine combat vet too.

The top Marine officer recruiting office in the US is in downtown Berkeley. The high school that has sent the most grads to the military academies since WWII is Sacred Heart in SF.

The best college Rugby teams are Cal Berkeley and St. Mary's in Lafayette. The top youth Rugby program in the US is in the SF bay area, my son played and I coached. The winningest high school football team in the last 20 years in the US is De La Salle in Concord, CA. The Richmond, CA Juniors AR-15 rifle team is one of the tops in the country. I coached and my son was on the team. The top shooter nationally is a girl from central California.

California probably has more guns than any other state than Texas because there are (or were) so many former military there. I grew up in south Florida on the edge of the Everglades so TN is fine by me.

I'll also miss all of the functions at the Marine Memorial Hotel in downtown SF and our annual Marine Corps Birthday Party/Cruise.

However, the poop in the street, drive-by shootings, used needles in the parking lots, homeless encampments, crime, taxes, drugs, stupid laws, and lack of law enforcement forced me out. Also, no state income tax in TN and they are much more fiscally responsible.

When I tell someone I'm from California I'm quick to tell them I sold my house and took all of my money and guns and moved to the Free State of Tennessee. They smile and shake my hand and say, "Bless your heart, we're glad to have you."

I now have a 450 sq foot finished and air conditioned basement with a full kitchen and bath (my Man Cave), billiards table, pool, hot tub, and a three car and two car garage. I'm a block off Lake Chickamauga outside Chattanooga. I'm planning on having a 3-day mini-convention sometime next year. I can set up tables for 6-8 games and have three spare bedrooms and camping in the three acre back yard. No hotel cost and bring your own beverages and food to cook. Admittance will be a six-pack of double IPA – for me of course. My wife promises to be out of town.

Of course I'll have the flamethrower for everyone to try out and some marksmanship contests. Make your reservations early.

S/F,
Wolfhag

I'll have to keep an eye open for your mini convention as I live in Chapel Hill, TN. Look forward to seeing you at Nashcon next year.

Bismarck01 Dec 2021 12:43 p.m. PST

Wolf,
you are absolutely right with the comparison of Lejeune and
Pendleton, and the "scenery" was no comparison. Don't think
I ever saw a California girl that wasn't a looker.

Not sure if I incorrectly remember, but I think there are
more veterans, retired Marines and servicemen per capita
in California than any other state.

Forget where we here in NC are ranked, but we have quite
a few veterans and a fair sized amount of retired servicemen and Marines., most settled around Onslow County, home of "Camp
Swampy", the Cherry Point area and of course Fayetteville
for the Army guys.

Sounds like you are definitely settled in. Shame you
are about 8 hours drive from where I am in NC. Just
wonder if your accent will change! ;-)

Welcome to Tennessee! I'm smack in the middle of the state, and wouldn't trade it for any other. Hope to see you at Nashcon.

Wolfhag Supporting Member of TMP02 Dec 2021 6:00 p.m. PST

Parzival,
If you are ever in Murfreesboro stop by and see Steve Jones of Blue Panther games. He'll show you how around his place and his equipment for printing games.

I had scheduled to run a game a Nashcon but my move got in the way. Hopefully next year.
