The Lemax Christmas Village collection has a decent enough cobblestone "street" and "courtyard" sized plastic mat. The detail isn't exceptional, but a little bit of modelling work could really bring out the life of it. link These are usually available this time of year at stores like Michaels, and show up in more unusual places like Kohl's. If great coupons are not at hand (Miochaels offers 40% off this week), you can try to beat the post-Christmas rush for sales and shop for them (right) after the holidays. |

We still are catching up from Historicon. We did sell out of most of the Cobblestone Roads, but have a little bit of inventory to put on the website later. Contact us via email if you want to order anything that is out of stock and we will work it in. Doug BTC |

Early War Miniatures do great latex cobblestones in at least two scales.

Another option is to go with 2D printouts from a color printer, bonded to vinyl, peel-n-stick floor tiles. Here is a link to my blog about my vinyl floor tile projects. If you scroll down to #4, just shy of halfway down, then look at #6, towards the bottom. Project #4 is dungeon tiles bonded to floor tiles, and it demonstrates the concept fully. Project #6 is a 2D river, which is akin to what such a road project could look like. You might be able to find cobblestone road PDF's, or else find a top down image you like, and print it to scale, then follow my blog techniques for mounting your printouts to floor tiles. The advantages are that they are very durable. They can be flexed, as needed, to remove any warpage, no matter how long they have been sitting, warped. They are easy to produce as much/many bits as needed. They tend to be a low cost option, as well. The real down side is the weight of a stack of pieces. That vinyle is dense, and heavy, in stacks. Cheers! |

Novus Design Studio does roads in 28mm (and 15mm and 6mm) in RTV rubber. They are pre-painted and very nice. |

Hi guys, thanks for the excellent advice, now I am trying to find what is the best option. By the way, I was not able to find 28mm roads in the Novus Design Studios. |

Thanks Gear Pilot for posting this. We do make finished cobblestone roads, they are technically 15mm but will work as a single lane 28mm road. MrZorro, if you haven't found what you're looking for in a cobblestone road here is a link to that category on our website:https://novusdesign.net/pre-painted-terrain/15mm-painted-cobblestone-roads/ They are available in Terracotta and Euro Gray. We also make 12x12 inch finished cobblestone mats that can be cut to make road sections in whatever width/sized sections you like. Thanks! Robert Novus Design |
