A fun couple of hours spent on Sunday afternoon playing a 'what-if…?'. Sadly a solo game as Henry wasn't feeling well, but enjoyable nonetheless.

The action was based around the idea of the ARA Belgrano dashing across Burdwood Bank on the night of 1-2 May, 1982, to attack the British Task Group at dawn (oddly around 1130 in these waters). It was a close run thing, and I'm still not entirely sure who won (except me, of course, as I was playing both sides).

Brilliant AAR with the nicely painted miniatures and evocative battle maps. What ruleset are you using out of curiosity?

Yes, great stuff. And lovely paint jobs too – I am wondering why mine don't look nice and clean like that…

Also interested to note your various deck colours!

Cheers guys, appreciated, and thanks for the comments about the miniatures :)

The next game will be to mark the 50th anniversary of Operation Trident, the Indian attack on Karachi harbour. I'll be making a 'light' version of the 'Danger Zone' rules available through my blog.
