A fun couple of hours spent on Sunday afternoon playing a 'what-if…?'. Sadly a solo game as Henry wasn't feeling well, but enjoyable nonetheless. The action was based around the idea of the ARA Belgrano dashing across Burdwood Bank on the night of 1-2 May, 1982, to attack the British Task Group at dawn (oddly around 1130 in these waters). It was a close run thing, and I'm still not entirely sure who won (except me, of course, as I was playing both sides). Full AAR and more photos on the blog: link Nick

Brilliant AAR with the nicely painted miniatures and evocative battle maps. What ruleset are you using out of curiosity? |

Yes, great stuff. And lovely paint jobs too – I am wondering why mine don't look nice and clean like that… Also interested to note your various deck colours! |

Cheers guys, appreciated, and thanks for the comments about the miniatures :) The next game will be to mark the 50th anniversary of Operation Trident, the Indian attack on Karachi harbour. I'll be making a 'light' version of the 'Danger Zone' rules available through my blog. Nick |
