I sow it but thanks for answering. On this map is only 16th division. I am interested what disposition would look like in case of war, when bouth Belgian divisions would been involved

Not sure on Divisions, but one possible task of my Bde, 33(UK) Armd Bde was to pop south in support of 1 (BE) Corps, as we exercised for on Crossed Swords 1986,

Tally Ho!

Thanks mate, was that only an option or you would go regardless what situation would be on british sector

nickinsomerset28 Nov 2021 12:50 p.m. PST

I think it was one of the options,

Tally Ho!

1st Division in Belgium and 16th Division in Germany should defend a line and sector on the Weser between Kassel and Hannover

This inactive website (now archived) contains info on the Belgian forces in Germany. Click on the "information" link then under the "carte be situation" link click on the "forces Belge stationer en Allemagne dans la 80 décennie". Tried a direct link to the map but couldn't get in to work. There's a lot of info all through-out the site.
