Anybody have an idea whether the Brigade Games Vikings are compatible with Gripping Beast, Foot Sore and Victrix Vikings?

Thanks for any info.

One great thing about gaming the medieval era is the lack of standardization and mass production of equipment, so everything pretty much goes with everything.

As long as most of the figures are within the range of human size variation, they'll look OK.

Many weapons were individually made by or for their owners, so their sizes will naturally vary. That's especially true for the Vikings and other primarily rural forces. Only major city states would have weapon makers who could churn out large numbers of nearly identical weapons – ultimately all by hand, still, although they had more hands working and larger furnaces and forges than a village blacksmith.

By comparison, all of your M-16A1s pretty much have to appear to be the same size, or they'll look strange.
