Hi Guys, I've just finished these boys for the Peninsular. It's not the first time I've painted this unit so I have some tips you might find useful ((or not, if you are a proficient egg sucker when it comes to painting lots of black already)) if you are planning on adding Brunswick Oels Jagers to your roll call: link
Several more images, plus some jagers in green, at the link above. |

Must have made hiding behind cover a bit difficult? Very nice work. |

Beautifully done. Your painting tips are also very informative. |

Actually thinking my next unit so been looking at uniform plates and many show the not so black uniforms like you did rather that a can of flat black spray paint and go to town. Will keep yours at hand when looking for inspiration. |

Nicely done! you can also come back with a black glaze all over the black uniform which will blend the different hues you have together. Or don't do anything at all, they still look great. |

Great painting. To paint "black" in such a style is fantastic. |

Looks excellent I painted the entire Brunswick Corps for a project and I will never make the mistake of thinking that painting an entire unit black is easy again J |
