"Who makes priests/monks for Medieval on?" Topic

Inspired by another TMP thread, who makes priests and monks for the Medieval period on, particularly in 25/28MM?

I am aware of OG, BTD, Foundry, Perry, Gripping Beast, AW, and Irregular. Who am I missing?

I am sort of tempted to make an army of priests and monks just because.

Believe I saw one or two in the new Napoleonic Horror figures sets.

1st Corps have several, although their website seems down at present.

Caballero have some really nice ones if you are okay with 3D printed figures.

Footsore make a few for their ranges. Mainly Dark ages but they have some good stuff for the Baron's war range.

Come to think of it, it would be nice to have a stand of Russian Orthodox priests blessing the icons, like before Borodino. I guess no one makes figures that would serve like this in 15mm?

I have a friend who is a devout Russian Orthodox subdeacon and he advised me how to paint the figures. The pole carried by the deacon figures with the sun burst represents, according to my Orthodox friend, the Seraphim angels that stand by the throne of God. He also told me to make sure not the paint the priest's hat black, but either red or purple.

Here is my 15mm Orthodox stand. The priest I named, Father Joseph.

So I ordered the set of Hussite priests you recommended. I also ordered a priest with a tall banner staff from the Alexander Nevsky line by Minifigs. I plan on scaling an image of the Virgin of Smolensk icon to the right size, print it, and attach to the tall staff. The goal is to achieve something like the scene from War and Peace with the blessing of the icons.

Definitely a interesting project Speculus, as said would love to do the same for my Borodino army

Will you direct me to the priest with the tall banner staff from the Alexander Nevsky line by Minifigs? I looked for it but haven't been able to locate it. I like your idea of putting an icon of the Virgin of Smolensk on the staff!

John, your question made me realize I made a colossal foul up. The Alexander Nevsky line is in 25mm 🙄. So I have ordered a priest that will stand like a giant amongst my 15mm. "Colossal" indeed.

On the plus side, I have finally opened the bag of Blue Moon Holy Priests and Nuns (from their Horror line) that I bought a couple of years ago. There are plenty of appropriate figures in that bag. I'm going to dremel out the crucifix one is brandishing and replace with .025 wire and mount the icon that way. I'll post pics when completed.
