While I've got my 300+ mounted Plains Indians sitting around waiting for me to finish painting all the other figures needed for Pony Wars, I thought I might try my hand at a game of Beecher Island where 50 US Scouts held off 300 Indians. Has anyone played this battle? What rules would you recommend?

Hi

Did it with Sword and the flame and it was fun game.

I don't have a set of rules but The Charge at Feather River (1953) has a U.S. Cavalry unit trapped on an island in a river. Not a bad movie.
