While I've got my 300+ mounted Plains Indians sitting around waiting for me to finish painting all the other figures needed for Pony Wars, I thought I might try my hand at a game of Beecher Island where 50 US Scouts held off 300 Indians. Has anyone played this battle? What rules would you recommend? |

I don't have a set of rules but The Charge at Feather River (1953) has a U.S. Cavalry unit trapped on an island in a river. Not a bad movie. link |
