Does anybody know what uniform colours were worn by the 14th irregular cavalry that mutinied at Jhansi? Boris Mollo's book on the Indian Army is missing this information.

Iron Duke has the most complete uniform info I know of. The 14th is listed as unknown. link

W.Y. Carman's Indian Army Uniforms – Cavalry, also turns up a blank for the 14th.

Very provisional ( based on a vague description)
Blue alkaluks, red turbans and waist-sash.
