You were asked – TMP link Superglue is notorious for having a short shelf life. When you purchase superglue, do you write down the date of purchase so you know when the stuff is too old to trust? 88% said "no, I do not date my glue" 5% said "yes, I date my glue" 3% said "I don't use superglue" |

Well, more people date their glue than put dung on their cavalry bases. |

The only time I have shelf life problems is once the tube is open. The stuff I use tends to cloud up and clump when drying if it is getting too old. |

Some people will date anything with a pulse :/ |

I used to, but my glue started seeing other people behind my back and I had to end it. No, I don't date my glue. If it's old, I get a new bottle (though 99/100 I just use up the bottle- I don't see it go old very often). |

Store it in the refrigerator, it lasts longer. |

Regardless, once you open up superglue, it's days are numbered… |

New superglue barely works for me. Old superglue works less well. A trick is to buy the smallest containers possible. Quick setting epoxy is so much more effective, and barely any less convenient, so I mostly use that. |

Dating girls is better than dating glue, believe me, and rather more expensive!!! |

Yeah, but at least the glue will stick around after the first date… ;-) |
