The video says they're Imperial Yeomanry from 1901, although a person who comments on this video seems to think question if they are Australians in WW1?

Regardless, it's an interesting video showing about halfway through the process the horsemen would use for dismounting to setup a machine gun, and dismounting to form a fire line.

Enjoy!

The Wolesley pith helmet was only introduced widely o
into the army after the Boer War; and some of those troopers also seem to be wearing shorts -another post Boer war change of uniform.

Most certainly post Boer War – not sure if they are Aussies but I thought that the Austrian light horse favoured a hat rather a helmet

One commenter spotted the 1903 bandolier equipment which is what I was looking for. Better eyes than me!

The hats don't really tell anything, as the British trialled a "Foreign Service Hat" in the early 1900s which is almost indistinguishable from the Australian form.

The footage is a bit hard to see to make a call either a way.
