Could not agree more

The root cause of this is not John. It is allowing topics which have nothing to do with gaming.

You have a lot of gall to proclaim what it allowed on MY website. I have always allowed historical discussion here.

Someone trolled the slavery topic on a gaming board and John got swept up. The person makes some absurd point, it makes you angry and there you go.

John had admitted elsewhere that his reason for coming back to TMP this last time was to stir up trouble, and that I was a fool to let him back.

I expect that grown men can control their tempers when engaged in forum discussion.

Got to agree with all that Bill posted there …

Adults should be able to discuss topics without vitriol, derision, etc., in a calm manner. Especially on a site which is primarily about playing with toy soldiers.

Who's this john guy and what's this tread about slavery?
What was said?
If John was defending slavery then he should be verbally eviscerated, if John was attacking someone defending then he should thanked not banned.
Having volunteered with modern ex-slave's who had to chose street sleeping to escape their abuser this is not a historical topic and is probably in your neighborhood.

He emails me regularly. He creates sock puppet accounts regularly, which eventually get Locked. He says he doesn't want to come back to TMP.
