A prominent wargames magazine just cancelled my subscription (and provided a refund), citing problems with international postage. I suspect other magazines will follow suit. The collapse of Western Civilization is real!

I do hope magazine companies can come to arrangements with redistribution hubs in other parts of the world!

I have a subscription to a European wargames magazine. Mine was always arriving delayed to the US. They changed the way they ship and I get it in a timely matter.

Odd thing now is, I can read the digital version thru my local library weeks before they even send me an email saying it's been shipped.

WI has a distributor in the USA. They emailed subscribers that they were cancelling subscriptions due to ongoing shipping problems. I understand that and subscribed to the dealer in the US. I was just annoyed that the Prime + hardcopy deal I was doing is now gone. The hardcopy itself is much more expensive than the combo was before. I was hoping they would provide some type of discount for PRIME. I contacted them about it and sadly it's not going to happen.

Thanks

John

Yeah, it happened to me too. I will give credit to the WI publisher that they did refund the subscription. But, I have every issue from the start, so am pretty sad not to be able to complete the set. I managed to get most of the issues from 2020-21, but not quite all. Online is ok, but I like to relax on the lounge and flick through actual paper. A sign of the times. :-(
