Over the last few days, several reports have emerged about an exercise called Falcon Strike 2015 that was held in Thailand. Apparently, after a disastrous first day, the Thai Gripens came back and did pretty good against the Chinese J-11s and SU-27s. This article here has some pretty good information: link |

Pre-pandemic, many Chinese tourists came to Thailand. China is also selling military hardware to Thailand. |

Interesting. I know a guy whose wife is Thai and he goes there to scuba dive on a regular basis. I never really thought of Thailand as being outside the hegemony of the US. |

Also, China donated large quantities of vaccine to Thailand. However, the Thais believe the vaccine was not effective, and are now getting other foreign vaccines. |

US has also been selling hardware to Thailand. Call it their traditional bamboo diplomacy. |

You'd have to be either very brave, or very stupid to actually take a vaccine made in China under the current circumstances. I don't trust them with dogfood and treats due to all the deaths of pets tied to those. |
