Would 15 mm miniatures with 10mm tanks be close to the look of the base game?

No you need 10/12mm minis and 10/12mm tanks for scale. To replace missing models you need 12mm tanks and 20mm infantry

Tanks are smaller than 12mm, maybe 10mm?
