"HeroQuest from Hasbro Update— In the Warehouse!" Topic

Got the update e-mail today from Hasbro:

" Greetings HeroQuest Backers,

Thank you for your patience as we work to get you more definitive answers to your shipping questions. As many of you may already know, the shipping industry is dealing with unprecedented issues and concrete information is difficult to share as the situation can quickly change. We targeted this campaign to deliver in the Fall of 2021 and we have worked hard to meet that deadline.

Now for the good news!

For Mythic tier backers, the last of the shipments have arrived to our warehouse and we have begun printing shipping labels! That means you may be seeing a tracking number generated, but please don't be alarmed if you don't see movement right away. As soon as your incredible chest of quests officially ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us."

So if you backed (and backed big), you should be hearing something soon.

Awesome. I opted out of the constant barrage of Hasbro pulse alerts beyond just Heroquest and that took me off the update list. I asked them if I could just get the updates but they told me no, it was all or nothing, so it's good to know they sent an update and my Mythic tier will be shipping soon.

I have to remind my inner gaming puppy that there's no need to check the front porch today…but I still wind up looking.

Believe it or not, I have NEVER played an actual game of Heroquest, but my grandson played with the grid and terrain and minis for years, and we owned a LOT of it, often picked up at 75% off. My basement is still full of plastic tubs of it. And now the younger grandson, though he is mainly into things that go, enjoys the castle and the robots.

I honestly don't know why I fully backed this update- I have the original and first couple of expansions (actually I have both the UK and US versions).

Got the e-mail this AM. It's on its way.
