I have three items on back order with Magister Militum (dated from the end of July) and just wondered how long I should wait before my head explodes? They don't respond to emails so no point in sending one. Is there a time limit in distance selling regs? |

Not sure where you live but I've always had very good experiences dealing with Magister Militum for orders to the US. They've also always responded to emails (although I haven't had to email them all that often). I'm sure you have probably checked the spam folder to see if they are getting caught up there. Perhaps try to email from a different account, post on their FB or give them a call? |

Yes there is a time limit. Go to legislation.gov.uk and look at the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, section 19 "Performance". It all depends on what you have been told, and what you agreed to, with the supplier. Given that Magister sell alot of products that they buy from other producers, and the current transport and raw material supply "difficulties". It may be that they are waiting to receive deliveries. I bought some stuff recently and had to wait a few weeks for a restock from USA before I got one pack. |

It hasn't been "years" since July, Simon. It just feels that way. |

Theyve also taken a long time on back orders from me but I always get my stuff. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 emails to get through. |

@Simon the Squirrel I very much doubt Richard or Zoe scan TMP looking for customer issues. Have you heard of a device called the "telephone" ? It's amazing , simply enter some digits and you'll talk to someone capable of dealing with your problem. Much more efficient than the method you are employing here. |

Oh, kodiak, you spoil all the fun! I was hoping for video when Simon's head exploded. Of course, from pretty much all my recent experience at calling corporations, the fun may still be on. ("Your call is important to us. Please hold while we play incredibly irritating music and advertising and ignore you.") |

I've never had to deal with back ordered items from Magister Militum, so I can't speak to that. But I did order some stuff from them recently and it shipped very fast, I got both packages in about a week or so. I also haven't had to ever deal with communicating with them, but it sounds like it's a frustrating endeavor to get them to respond. Hope it gets resolved soon. |
