Just opened (always slightly behind) the October WI and noticed that the paper seems more matt and less gloss than previous. Had this happened previously and i have missed it (probably my quickest ever reading of WI as whilst i have played 40K in past, never been interested in fantasy – others are I know) |

… so much "Fantasy & SF" in it that I stopped getting it. |

October was the first I noticed the paper change- I actually like it. |

was the quickest that ever recycled one – i think read it (in terms of items of interest) in less than a a day and then put into appropriate container. I am not anti fantasy or sci fi but that was too much – albeit the comment in the editorial that majority of games in local club on one occasion were in some shape not historical was interesting. I noted the comment that WI remains primarily a historical wargaming magazine and i hope so. Personally not that much into pirates etc but i accept that we all have our favourites |
