So, I'm looking around for a model of a sturgeon. Something in the 12-18 inch (30-50 cm) range. My go tos for things like this are Schleich or Papo, but they don't seem to have anything. Relatively inexpensive is also a good thing, since this is intended to be a monster fish used in only one game. Grelber |

Check out Amazon cat toys. They have catnip fish now about that size, and if you touch them they flop around. |

Maybe check out (online?) fishing/tackle shops? They might have a fishing lure close to what you are looking for… |

Holy cow, machinehead! That Dunkleosteus is one mean looking fish! He looks armored, and like a match for a small boat. You know, HMS Exeter, there is something to be said for a fish that flops about when an overly curious player touches it! Zephyr1, I will look check out fishing lures more after I eat. A quick Google search did bring up a ready to eat sturgeon for $49.00 USD. Grelber |

I like that Amazon link. This was classified as: Home & Kitchen›Home Décor Products›Artificial Plants & Flowers›Artificial Vegetables And there are pictures with it of a smiling child (not part of same picture but positioned as if smiling at the sturgeon) and a baby. Kinda weird. andy |

"And there are pictures with it of a smiling child" – I got my kid a different Dunkleosteous model, and the seller plainly used a default template for child's toys. The description indicated my child would "love the cuddly miniature Dunkleosteus." |

Considering from where this item all but certainly originated, you might want to do a lead test on it before letting anyone besides yourself handle it. Just saying. I got a lead test set to use on items coming from China. The plastic trees passed. The replica coins passed, but the testing solution dissolved the "gold" electroplating on the Double Eagle. Oh well. |

I want the very model of a swimming sturgeon general. He should look like an animal although he's made from minerals. The size is quite significant and thus should not be minimal! I want the perfect model of a swimming sturgeon general. Chorus: He wants the perfect model of a swimming sturgeon general! I'll get my fishing hat and coat now… Try the caviar— it's fresh! |

Poor little sturgeon fish. Poor little sturgeon fish. Of plastic he's made, and quite dead. Lament for poor sturgeon fish. Bewail for poor sturgeon fish. Poor plastic sturgeon fish dry. Well, you started it! |
