My top used to be a magnifying glass or Brunt Umber as a color – but recently I have been using parchment paper for most of my painting and gluing – loving the fact that stuff doesnt stick to it easily

So what is your favorite

This is the stuff on my table

Parchment Paper
Magnifier
Uniform Reference
Paint Color like a Burnt Umber
Files
White Glue
Modeling green putty
toothpick
tooth brush
palette tray
Magnifier
Lighting
Clamps
Inks
Washes
Other?

Right now my oil paints. I been experimenting with painting a few minis in oils and using oil washes on acrylic painted miniatures it's been a lot of fun trying out new techniques.

For me the first item would be:

1: Ott Light: (I can't paint it, if I can't see it).
2: Cutting mat and protective covers on my table. (Keeps from harming the tabletop.
3: Magni-visor: (I can't paint it if I REALLY can't see it.)
4: Cup holders/warmers: 1 on the right for paint water. 1 on the left for drinks. I never put them side by side. Mistakes happen that way.
5: Wet Pallete.
6: Regular Pallete.
7: Vortex Paint Shaker.
8: Paint racks with paints.
9: Reference materials.
10: Nearby trash can.

Minwax Polyshades Urethane Stain -- Royal Walnut. When I apply that, it is basically the final step in the painting process. After that dries, I am done with those figures. When I work with that, I can see the Finish Line right in front of me. Cheers!
