As the celebratory fireworks and explosive detonations are seen, heard, and felt throughout the capital city of Sudekia, his Excellency, President-For-Life P'hat Daddee B'wonah wishes good tidings upon his people and for the rest of the world for celebrating Bongolesian National Independence.
Banana Chips, Lentil Beans, Cocoanut Flakes, and other wonderful delicacies are to be shared and enjoyed as you enjoy the festivities….

The traditonal celebratory parade had to be cancelled
this year. Normally, the cavalry of the Presidential Guard leads the
parade but tragically both horses foundered while being
tacked-up. On the plus side, the 'all you can eat' celebratory
luncheon, originally cancelled due to budget problems,
has been scheduled for tomorrow. |

I can never remember from whom the Bongolesians obtained their independence? Was it Luxembourg? Andorra? Monaco? My daughter wrote "Cleveland" on her school exam and that was apparently wrong. |
