I had a great game this week at the club, four of us played a game of Disposable Heroes.

We did an attack on a German held village by US troops, I have put up a report on my site with some pictures of the battle.

Great to see another Disposable Hero's player, we have used version one as the basis for our Spanish Civil War and Early War Desert games, they are a great set of rules.

Version 2 has an entirely different activation system where one unit can activate multiple times. It didn't work for us and after watching some videos of the game play we stuck with version 1.

Very old school with detailed vehicle charts and damage to vehicles rather than bang and your dead. Great looking game.

@yarkshire gamer I agree about 2nd edition.

I have watched some videos and read a couple of reviews and I don't like a lot of what I am hearing about the newer rules.

I for one will be sticking to the 1st edition, and like you Ken I also like the vehicle charts grin

Looks fun. Used to play a DH a lot. I agree with yarkshire regarding v2, not a fan of that.

Awesome! DH and DH Point Blank are my go-to WW2 rules.

Cheers!

Best dang rules ever! I dig most of the variants too!

@Striker thanks, version one does seem better.

@KiltedWolf thanks, they are my go to WW2 rules at the moment, really liking them.

@Chuckaroobob I have only tried the main rules so far, so not sure about any other variants.
