Hi Guys,

Forum member Machinehead (our 1/144th scale modelling aficionado here) sent me some spare parts recently to use for detailing on my own collection, but also in the box was this hidden gem!

I've admired his work on the forum here, but seeing one of his models up-close allowed me to really enjoy his skills.

So, as further appreciation, and as a thank you to Ed for his gift, I thought I'd place his German Mk. IV in a little background setting that might show off his brushwork to further effect -

Thanks Dave. Your photography skills are so much better than mine, mine always come out too dark.

MH, since you had mentioned this before, but I'd never seen it till now – the painting tutorial thread for this Pz. IV on the forum here.

Btw, I did spot the LSSAH key insignia on the hull – and nice to see the 1/35th scale color guide you used too.

(I should have done an Italian backdrop scene instead) ;)

That is a very nice looking tank, and a wonderful backdrop scene.

I love all the grass and foliage.

Appreciate that Thresher!

(I keep that snuggie handy, folded up on the couch in case I need it)
