"We live in an era of relative peace compared to most of history, however, as Visual Capitalist's Avery Koop details below, this does not mean that there are no conflicts in the world today.

This map using data from the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) reveals where the world's 27 ongoing conflicts are today, and what type of conflicts they are…"

Historically speaking… today's conflicts are minor when compared to wars and conflicts in the past. But we all know this can change very quickly if today's major powers decide to wage war directly against each other right now….

The USA currently … IMO … 😁

Hey look, most of those conflicts are in regions that were former colonies and client states of world powers. Imagine that!

If economic inequality in the US continues to increase, you could very well see it fracture. Declining conditions often ignite factional hostilities.

Not getting into the modern politics bit, but you do know these areas had wars long before there was colonialism? (Colonialism by western powers anyhow.)

So South Korea is not at odds with North Korea. More rubbish.

Yes, regardless of the "wayward" Sun Shine policies, etc. … Un would like nothing more than to make the ROK part of his "Workers Paradise". If the USA etc., were not a threat to him making that happen …

South Korea is not at odds with North Korea, but North Korea is very much at odds with South Korea. The last time a South Korean was killed by North Koreans was in 2020.

So South Korea is not at odds with North Korea. More rubbish.

Gun battles anywhere in the Mid East … it must be Monday … or Tuesday … or any day of the week.

Nork collapse … we could only hope. That being said, if Un & his associates survive they should be brought up on crimes against humanity, etc. And hopefully executed …
