Changed title from "My homemade 30 mm Horse & Musket armies ready for paint" to "My homemade 30mm Horse & Musket armies ready for paint"Removed from Historical Wargaming in General board
I have completed an important stage of my project "Azules y Colorados": I finished all the sculpting, moulding, casting, converting and assembling and now, I have two homemade 30 mm armies for the Horse and Musket period, ready to be painted. I share some pictures.
I sculpted the masters with FIMO Soft and two part epoxy putty. I used polyurethane resin to cast the infantrymen, horses and riders, metal for the muskets and two part epoxi putty for the gunners, wheels and gun tubes.
The swords are made of wood and the spears are broom hair.
Uniforms are from the Civil Wars in Argentina circa 1840.

I am suitably dumbfounded at the effort, imagination, patience, and evident artistry of a Wargamer of the Old School who makes the armies he needs when they are otherwise unavailable.
