A very unusual set of gunners obviously and very nicely presented. i presume the gun is yet to be painted but am intrigued by the gent with the telegraph pole. It surely is no trail spike and a breech hardly needs a rammer, let alone one that length. So what is it?

They are from the "Force d'Intervention," are they not? Too bad Her Majesty's government decided to change the "tail-jacket" to the French-style "frock coat" in ca. 1855. Thus, these can't be used for 1854, and the "War against Russia!" grin

Nice figures, and paintwork!
