You were asked – TMP link

What won't you do when self-isolation from COVID-19 is over (or at least paused between waves, depending on who you listen to)?

13% of the votes: "wearing a mask unless sick"

6% [TIE]: "getting back in the rat race/busy" OR "staying indoors all the time"

6%: "avoiding people"

5%: "going to dirty restaurants"

I haven't done anything different since May, 2020.

Have been gaming with my friends all through this his.

Traveled the entire East coast from Maine to Georgia, out West to Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky. Just got back from a 2 week trip to Nashville, Greenville SC and Charleston.

Never have had so much as a sniffle.

In fact had a Game of Thrones match up last night with 2
friends, Grayjoy vs Free People (Grayjoy won) and off to a 20mm W.W. II game with a different group of friends today.

Likewise, Oddball. Took it easy at first, but since May of 2020, been gaming regularly. Just no conventions.

Pretty fragmented answers.

I game regularly with three different groups of people, including miniatures and board games.

Everyone is pretty careful and all have been vaccinated. One of my friends is seriously immune compromised so we mask for him.

Attended Enfilade. We met to wrap up the Labor Day convention today. Masking was required and we've had no Covid outbreaks we've heard about.

Going about one's gaming business should be fine. Everyone just needs to be careful.

Haven't worn a mask gaming or anywhere I was not required to. Seems I've been careful as haven't had any problems in 20 months of current events.

As for the W.W. II game I mentioned above. US is battering the German infantry with 105mm batteries, but the grenadiers in the hedgerows are extracting a price with panzerfausts upon the recon tripping the ambushes. Few Shermans are burning in French fields also.

German first line defense (speed bumps) are wiped out, 2nd line on left flank is gone, but right flank putting up good fight, just stopped a US assault cold thanks to MG-42 fire and one tank hunting team whos successes will never be known as they and everyone around them will be wiped out eventually. More GIs and Shermans on the way, so we'll see what happens.

All German hopes are on the very tough 3rd line with AT guns and an 88mm flak to hold until KG arrives to "stabilize" the front.
