Disease and History Intersect at History ForumThe first History Forum of the 2021-22 season is Pox Americana with Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian Elizabeth Fenn. In her lecture, Fenn will explore the impact of a devastating smallpox epidemic that coincided with the start of the American Revolution in 1776, how the war and pandemic were intertwined, and how the pandemic affected the outcome of the Revolution and the events that followed across the continent.
