The figures are nice but why is something as the title says 1755 listed in the American Revolution board? Shouldn't this be posted to the French and Indian War board?

historygamer08 Oct 2021 5:10 a.m. PST

Yes, and he knew this since it had been lingering on the F&I board for weeks with no responses – for a reason.

And no, they aren't a good job. They look nothing like Provincial troops in 1755 at the Mon (Braddock's Defeat?), and at least one of the figures is a pirate, and another is a Rev War Continental officer. Several of them don't even appear to be from the right century. Not even close.

I guess Tango doesn't even know the difference.

I have used AWI militia in F&I war scenarios, but the Continental officer is out of place, and the pirate is as well. I would still game with them. If he took the time and effort to paint them, who am I to complain? Game on!

I am not faulting the owner of the figures, just the spammer who placed this post on the Rev War board after it got minimal interest in the F&I board. Don't confuse the two. LoL

I usually do not comment on the accuracy or paint jobs of sites that a certain person hijacks. The paint job is acceptable.
But one is from a Highwayman range. The guy surrendering. Others are clerks. One of them is definitely a Continental officer.
But none of them are Virginia Provincials.

It's an "all hands on deck" situation. We've all done that. But…

This is the third time I'm seeing a thread on this. The first, by the person who has these figures, was enough.

But that wasn't by Armand.
