I had never seen that Monty Python skit before. It literally made me cry laughing. There is something that is timeless and innate about Fart humor. I'm sure that it was just as funny in all the periods we play as it is today. I can see a movie scene like the one in Forrest Gump, when it shows Lt. Dan's ancestors all being killed on the battlefield. Only this one would be a soldier cutting a fart across time – A Roman at Alesia on top of a dying Gaul, a yank on top of the redoubt at Yorktown, a French Grenadier in Russia – everyone huddled around hoping it gives off heat! A squad in the trenches of WWI all suited up in gas masks and a C-47 crowded with paratroopers on their way to D-Day. But, hmmmm… I am wondering, if you fart in space, does it make any noise? So much for the ARC-170 Pilot in Star Wars I guess. |

I assumed anything with John Cleese in it was Monty Python! |
