Supposed NATO partner, Turkey, has agreed to cooperate with Russia on a number of key projects including warships, subs, jet engines and space warfare.

Turkey intends to buy more of the Russian S400 Air Defence systems.

there's a very small number of politicians I can trust, and Erdogan is not among them. There's absolutely no trust between Turkey and Russia, I guess these statements are coming from Turkey after failure of Erdogan's USA visit.

Yeah, it comes across as Ergodan creating leverage more than anything else to me. Still, its in Russia's interest to keep the Turks happy.

Could this be a response to the recent Greek – French deal for warships? There is no love lost between the Greeks and the Turks and they seem to be at odds with each other again in the Med.

I do find the "frenemy" relationship between Turkey and Russia to be very interesting.

I wonder if the Russians aren't or won't be tempted to provide sub-par systems at first-grade prices due to this?

Seems like that would be reasonable as payback for past issues and aircraft shootdowns, etc..

USA and NATO should weigh in heavily on Greece's side, just for grins.
