I decided I needed to have a bit of fun… so I took a sculpt that I had cast up:
Converted it:
And painted it:
He now represents me on the battlefield. He proxies as an Air Advisor for a command squad in the Astra Militarum. I did something similar to a cast of this miniature (just for fun):

Painted it up and gave it a nice base:
All round view (he is detachable from the scenic base):
This will probably fit in as a Captain or some special character… there are plenty more painted Space Dwarfs planned…

There will (eventually) be about 100 troops… a full company consisting of command and three platoons, with support. I am waiting for the remaining troops to be sent to me and then I'll (hopefully) start the painting in earnest. |

The last of the sculpts have arrived and they have been cleaned, based and primed :) . As a result, here's the whole company, ready for organising into units and then painting :) :
