Despite numerous obstacles (pandemic, last-minute drop-outs and a venue still undergoing some restoration) the HMGS-South Board of Directors managed to pull off a great show. This is even more amazing since it has been two years since the last convention (no income). Congratulations to the BOD for showing such fiscal responsibility and making it possible for many more years of HURRICON and RECON. Bravo Zulu, folks!

I was really delighted to see so many excellent naval games being run each session…quite a few more than in the past. I certainly had a great time and it sure looked like the other attendees did as well.

Indeed it was…. Sensible precautions, diverse assortment of games, old friends revisited, a swarm of kids having fun and dealers willing to liberate us from our bags of cash. Already looking forward to Recon!
