I have added another Soviet fighter to my Early War Far East collection, the redoubtable Polikarpov I-15.

I like the 30's vintage biplanes. The I-15 can get in an air duel with a Japanese Ki-10. Throw in a P26 and a CR 32 with Chinese markings.

Very nicely done.

The I-15 was widely used in 1941 and, already in smaller numbers, in 1942 on the Eastern Front as an attack aircraft (with an external suspension of rockets or bombs).
