SG1 I'll be back!

Just watched Star Gate SG1 last stand.

Hmm …

The ship crashed through the trees, cutting them, with predator style music playing.

Hmm …
(Spoiler)
At the end a dying chap, proped up against a tree holds in his hand a deadly weapon. He will use it on the enemy while his friends get away.

T2!!!

Hey, that's 2 refs to Arnie films!

Looked up Stargate last stand Arnold Schwarzenegger, to check…

The Last Stand, staring Arnold Schwarzenegger, pops up!!!!!!!

A third Arnie film reference!!!

This needs investigating.

It's not Arnie. You've just stumbled upon action movie tropes that go way back and get repeated a lot, across different genres of movies and TV.
The dramatic crash (ship/train/car/airplane/spaceship.
The sacrificial "bait" death.
You'll find ‘em everywhere.

Thanks. I think so too.

So that's 4 Arnie films already!
