Any one else remember playing this? I thought it was a great game.

Couldn't find much on-line, other than

Still have a copy…somewhere…

Just as a heads up. Sticks and Stones will be released (re-released) by Great White Games for Savage Worlds sometime in the next 6 month (hopefully). I am doing the entire minitures range for it. Working on the sculpts now as a matter of fact.

Some of the things I recall (and I have a copy too somewhere) are the scenarios were very creative….hunting, raiding, etc., the cooperative dogs, and the simple way the game handled "armor" (skins vs. shirts?) and weapon attack factors.

Woo hoo!

Jeff,

What sort of figures can we expect?

Me, too…

Jeff, please include an option for female figures that keep their "naughty bits" covered. I couldn't use some of the Reaper figures I purchased in a pack because of some exposed "fun bags" on a few of the lady cavemen. Bare "dirty pillows" wouldn't go over too well with the teachers at the school where I teach history through miniatures gaming to some of the gifted and talented kids.

Cacique Caribe11 Oct 2005 1:45 p.m. PST

Guru Dave,

Don't give up on the figures you already have. Just get some Green Stuff and cover their "naughty bits". It is very easy and you will be happy with the results.

I've got an issue or two of the old Interplay magazine (well, actually I've got all of them) that had rules for expanding the hunting scenario. Wooly rhinos, wolfpacks…good times, good times. :)

The Sticks and Stones figures shown on the link look great. I hope there will be a prominent posting when they are ready. I like the Raptor Sapiens!
