Have you ever read a book after seeing a positive review on a miniature wargaming blog? |

Yes – I'm just finishing John R Hale's "Lords of the Sea" (Gibson Square, 2010), ordered after I read a review on a blog. Blogs are also a good place to find games I might like – reading the blog lets you know what sort of wargame the writer plays and enjoys, so when someone recommends a set of rules you have a good idea about whether they are worth buying. |

Not sure, but I've definitely bought books on seeing them positively reviewed on miniature wargaming mailing lists and online fora. |

Many times, but mostly for RPG's, not wargames. Cheers! |

Maybe once. Not sure. Usually the books reviewed are not of enough interest to me for me to pick them up. But maybe I should be more pro-active in seeking them out. |

Possibly. I certainly have read books recommended by gaming friends. |

Definitely. As John Armatys said – if you find a Blog (or a magazine for Old School readers ) and a reviewer that you more or less agree with on stuff you already have then it's quite likely that other recommendations will be a good investment. |
