Something I could turn into a paper miniature.

Though my collection is 28mm, the ship need not be, and should actually be smaller, as the infantry will he on the ground and the main stage of the action (Hordes of the Things, if anyone is curious).

The miniatures will be airboat elements, of course.

My dream would include a bigger command ship as well (airboat general) and maybe a different model for the opposing side.

Other than that, I'm pretty open. These could just be flying galleons or ironclads, or even John Carter style fantasy/technology ships with blazing energy cannons.

I have, of course, tried google, but my skills seem insufficient to the task.

I'd see the ultimate flat models being maybe 3-6" long, hovering maybe 3-4" over the 28mm ground troops.

Any help would be appreciated.

And since I might as well be greedy, some type of HOTT flier element would also be great. Maybe a guy in a primitive jet pack? Or riding a Leonardo style flying bicycle?

So there's no confusion, by 2d left right, I just mean a picture of the ship from the side, or even 3/4 face, rather than the front. I could simply use Paint to make a mirror image for the opposite side.

Again, thanks.

Google "airships" and then click "images".

I like this one, print backwards and forwards for two sides.

Very nice pieces indeed! I have seen a couple of them.

The problem is that with 2d paper gaming, the best figures are made out of drawings. A photo of a model always looks like a photo of a model.

Much appreciated, though!

Do a search for 28mm airship.
Or whatever other scale you want. I see several choices.
3D prints are usually very very nice.

Google around "Space 1889 flyers" or "Aether ships": link
