I did a test of the Mad for War rules of a full 12 turn battle, specifically scenario 3 of the basic rules (Essentials)

I used 1:600 and 1:450 scale ships instead of the 1:1200 they are intended for, because I don't currently have any painted ones, but they still worked pretty well and we were able to get a feel for how the rules work. Also, it was a pretty exciting game.

Thanks for that, I will check this out as videos of game play really help me absorb rules mechanics and concepts. I purchased the pdf of these rules but haven't done much with them as I work on my lead pile.
